Hello beautiful readers! I've tried to write this post three times, and after four deaths in my family, I'm hoping this is gold!

I'm very excited to be working with Visbiome on this review, and Julie from the Chronic Illness Bloggers Network!

I know I say this every time, but I love this product! I've only been using it for a little over a month, but it's been long enough for me to see some results! I've long been a believer in the results of probiotics and the effect they can have on your system.

Let's talk about packaging: presentation was fabulous! I received a standard cardboard box with a styrofoam "cooler", which is what held the actual product. It came with specific directions on how to store the product, and a little ice pack, which I was really grateful for!

As for what the product claims to do:

"Visbiome™ is a medical food intended for the dietary management of dysbiosis associated with irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis, pouchitis, and hepatic encephalopathy."

IBS-C runs in my family, and it was my first official diagnosis. I really like that this product is not a drug, it's an actual, natural product. I noticed the results pretty quickly, maybe a couple of weeks in. My IBS pain had lowered significantly, I was having regular bowel movements, and even my fibro wasn't flaring as much (presumably because my IBS was controlled). The only negative that I noticed, was a little bit of pain when I first started taking it, and I found out that it has milk. I'm lactose-intolerant, which bummed me out. I just decreased my dosage to every other day.

I also appreciate that this product is far-reaching: it's gluten-free, kosher, and Halal certified!

This does have to be used on medical supervision! My gastro was totally on board, after my endoscopy, he really didn't know where to look.
