Hey Guys! Sorry for skipping last week, I had a really bad flare after a baseball outing and couldn't even get out of bed. The great thing about this blog is that as fellow spoonies, you guys actually understand what I'm talking about! Anyway, today's post is a list of my favorite things in July, I hope you enjoy!
1. Spoonie Friends: You all know who you are, and I love you all so so so dearly! I can't accurately describe how amazing it is that I went from a lonely girl in NY, to someone who has spoonie friends in Australia, Great Britain, Texas, North Carolina, and even here in my state! Three years ago, I was undiagnosed and I spent all day wanting to talk to Emma, and now she spent half of her last video talking ABOUT ME!! I cried, my mom cried, my dad cried, my best friend cried: it was like Taylor Swift knowing my name. It's so incredible, and that's it's own post. If you haven't seen that video please watch it, I always love Emma's spoonie/chronic illness tags (Also, Happy early Birthday Emma, I love you so much and I can't wait to see you soon)

2. The Newsroom: ummmmm.... Thank you Amazon Prime???? I AM OBSESSED! I've always had one viewpoint on how news outlets and media works, but this HBO show has honestly given me a newfound respect for news channels. I love the plot, I LOVE how brutally honest the characters are, and I just love everything about this show!
3. Mr. Robot: THIS SHOW RUINED MY LIFEEEEE!! It's just so amazing! I haven't learned anything about computers or hacking (sorry Matt!) but the show really keeps you on your feet! And: Rami Malik. Need I say more? No.
4. Persa 10 Gel: I have naturally really nice skin, but recently I started taking the Birth Control Pill for my endometriosis (let me know if you want a post about my story with the Pill), and its been rerouting my skin towards more of a Sahara desert dryness. I also had this really bad breakout on my cheeks! I stopped by the pharmacy and saw this in the Clean & Clear section and was so desperate, I had to pick it up! IT LITERALLY WORKS MIRACLEESSSSS!! I've been using it on my breakouts after my skincare routine and its been helping so much! I definitely recommend if you have severe or mild acne of any kind to at least try it, I've only heard good things!
5. Skincare Routine: As I mentioned above, I've developed a strict skincare routine and I really love it! I usually have VERY oily skin, but recently my face is leaning more towards the Combination-dry side. If you want me to list out my routine, just let me know!
6. The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath: If you don't know, Sylvia Plath is one of my three favorite poets! I was finally able to pick it up at a Barnes & Noble (aka: my true home) and I finished it in like 2 hours. It was so amazing! It really perfectly described how one falls into depression and what it's like. I almost cried when I read it, I couldn't believe someone could so accurately describe what I go through. It's such an amazing read and I recommend to everyone!
Those were all of my July favorites, I hope you enjoyed and I want to say thank you for the support! Please leave comments, reach out to me and share my posts with friends! I love each and every one of you, sending soft hugs and spoons your way x.
